These transitions allow the user to determine how to switch from one slide to the next during the presentation. There are many different transitions to choose from. The same one or different ones can be used throughout. Also, sounds can be used during slide transitions. Another unique thing about the PowerPoint program is the ability to fly pictures and lines of text to the slide. This is a great feature that allows the audience of the presentation to view only what the presenter wants the audience to see. If the presenter wants to discuss the slide's main topics one at a time it helps to be able to regulate when certain things appear on the slide. Videos can also be added to the slides. This also helps to enhance a presentation. The more interactive the presentat ion is the more the audience will focus on what the presenter is trying to say or show. For students, it is best to keep the audience interested. Software such as PowerPoint has many uses, the most important of which, is presentations. Whether for class or for work it is a useful and versatile tool. It allows the user to do almost anything necessary to enhance a presentation if used correctly.
