Several Tips to Make Your Presentation more Interesting - Business - Presentation

A number of jobs that you must solve make you often prepare a presentation in a hurry. Although you have prepared the presentation as well as possible, you could forget one thing unconsciously.

The followings are several tips that can make your presentation more fascinating:

1. Short and clear

Too long and rambling presentation will make the listener bored. Thus, present it for approximately 25 minutes and avoid the words that could not be effective. It would be easier if you explain your presentation using mind mapping. This way is proven to be an effective way to make listeners remember and 'record' the presented ideas more easily.

2. Fluent presentation

Sooner or later you talk determines how much attention you can get from the audience. You should be like a puppeteer who tells stories loudly or softly. You need to practice, ask for a friend to listen to your presentation and ask for his/ her input.

3. Add photos and images

To make your presentation more interesting, you could insert animated images or photographs to be understood more easily, and then explain with words that are easily understood. If using slides, try to make a running story between one slide and another slide. Remember that presentation is the communication of ideas. If you communicate your ideas fluently, the audience will understand your presented message easily.

4.Eye Contact

You should have eye contact with participants when you are giving a presentation. While speaking, have eye contact with them occasionally. This will make you find out if the participants really listen to your presentation or not. If there are participants who speak by themselves or perform other activities, just ignore them. If you notice them, your concentration could be lost.

5. Insert humor

Insert humor into your presentation, so you can create a fascinating atmosphere. However, try to choose humor that is relevant to the topic of presentation and do not be excessive. This will make the presentation lose its meaning. You should remember that you will deliver a presentation, not will make somebody laugh.

6. Create a summary

After the presentation is completed, you should give a little summary of the material you have presented. By that way, participants could recall what they have got from your presentation.
