Education is important for nurturing careers of aspiring students. Students dedicate their whole time in focusing over their academics which makes education exhausting and monotonous for them. In order to maintain the same excitement in students it is important to involve them in extracurricular activities. It acts as a refresher for them which help them to take education sportingly. Quizzes, seminars, sports, picnic, outings, gives a chance to take a break from the same cyclic routine to learners.At Sri Ram group of institutions various opportunities for outings are extracted to help students to come out of their droning schedule. These jaunts air new excitement and energy in students after which more energetically they focus on their academics. In the present year when only 3 months have passed students of Sri Ram have been taken more than 18 times for outings. Recently students were taken for First World Summit on Accreditation (WOSA -2012). The summit aimed at bringing together Indian and global leaders in professional and technical education, policy makers, educational administrators, regulatory bodies, corporate and industry.WOSA -2012 was held from 25th to 28th of March at Hotel Ashoka, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The inaugural of this grand summit was done by union HRD minister Kapil Sibal. During the summit more than 15 topics were raised on education. More than 500 delegates were registered from India and abroad. During the first the need of global education was discussed and Mr. Sibal wished to facilitate the concept of global education. Students of Sri Ram were highly exuberated with the summit. They were very active during the whole meeting. They were excited to meet Union HRD minister Kapil Sibal and Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.The idea of taking students for outings on this summit instilled energy in students. Now as they are back on their normal academics their liveliness can still be enjoyed. Sri Ram Group of Institutions strives hard to make education easy and interesting for students. Thus, extracurricular activities are also held in the campus to keep students fit and energized. The college believes that good ideas come from healthy minds.
The group is devoted to the ideals of Humanistic and Holistic education and has nurtured an education model that focuses on knowledge, skill building and value development. Employability factor is an area where SRIRAM has been able to bring in the industry expertise and thus managed to bridge the gap between the existing and the desired skills of management professionals.
Students who have completed their PG degrees in Management have been placed successfully in companies like Hero Honda. Moser Baer, Nokia, Reliance, Indian Oil, NTPC, ONGC, ITC, LG etc along with several private and national banks.
As a part of their social responsibility the group has been and will always be dedicated to make higher education a reality for meritorious economically weaker sections of the society. There are numerous partial and full scholarships available for bright students in the institute.
