In my quest for ideas to make money, I've picked up two bad habits. Firstly, I have to make a confession and a quick re-hashing of an old adage that your mother probably told you when you were growing up. Secondly, "birds of a feather flock together" (I know you can almost hear her voice, can't you) and my confession... I'm now watching two TV programs per week... that's up from "NO TV" at all.
The good news and my justification... It's a learning experience and the take-away is what I will share with you. I really do love watching the Celebrity Apprentice, even though I've seen Mr. Donald J. Trump personally twice well... I won't speak about it, that's a different seminar!
But he taught me two very important lessons; you don't have to be perfect to be rich, and if that guy can be successful... you finish the rest!!
What I enjoyed the most about the celebrity apprentice program is the ability of the teams to come up with ideas to make money. Whether it was a charitable fundraiser, creating a video commercial or a viral marketing hit, every time, the celebrities produced results. (one effort even produced an advertising super hero. EEEEE!!! (some of you will get that one!)
Now think about it, these celebrities aren't Madison avenue advertisers or marketing specialist. They are rappers, singers, actors, actresses, models, and ghetto-fabulous reality star people. With all that being said, they still seem to come up with tremendous ideas to make money and with a quickness. I'm in awe with how quickly they come up with their plans and are able to implement them. And most of the time how effortlessly they seem to pull it off.
What I've learned from watching these celebrities is that they are able to put on their entrepreneurial hats, and that everything starts off the same way... from an idea. Regardless to what your ideas to make money are,these are the 3 steps that I've taken away from the program that can help to achieve any desired goal:
1. Make a decision
2. Get Started immediately
3. Expect glitches, and disappointments, but always play hard and expect to win.
So if you're looking for ideas to make money in this down economy, it's possible. Just take a look around you at the businesses, people, and programs that are experiencing success, even in this down economy, and follow suit. Let the truth be told; ideas for making money may be easier than you think.
